Diving Thailand Ang Thong Marine Park
Dive Tour - Ang Thong National Marine Park
Ang Thong National Marine Park is made up of 42 islands featuring lime stone massifs, tropical rainforests and deserted beaches. Made popular in the novel and movie "The Beach", this beautiful group of islands boasts some of the most impressive topside scenery in SE Asia. The dive sites are renowned for their variety of soft corals, fascinating underwater caves and swim-throughs formed due to centuries of coastal erosion.
There are a number of different spots to dive, mostly in the northern part of the Marine Park. These dive sites remain much quieter than those around busier Koh Tao mostly due to the cost involved in getting there. We find that the extra cost is justified as you are more likely find something special here than else where.
Depths consistently range from 6m-18m making it ideal for all levels of diver, and the diversity of marine life make this a underwater photographers haven.
